Benchmark 

Benchmark is a metric you can use to see if you’re progressing toward your objective. If your objective is to be fast, one of your key results might be to run a five-minute mile. In this example, running six days a week won’t always be a good standard. However, increasing consistency from four to six days per week can become a standard. Helpful for evaluating progress, benchmarks produce excellent essential outcomes.
